Things you Need to Know

All you need is your mobile phone to open a Beem account and send money, you can also open up your Beem account online if you prefer.

How do I open my Beem account?

To open a Beem account via your mobile just text OPEN to 07781 48 46 68 and follow the prompts (standard network operator text rates apply) or to open your account online click the open online button on this site.

How can I access my Beem account?

Once you’ve opened a Beem account you have the option of accessing it online, here you can view text message and transaction history, enter and update details, add and remove debit cards and manage phonebook contacts. You can even download an excel sheet of transaction history for your records.

What if I lose my phone?

Once you open a Beem account your money is safe and secure. Even if you lose your phone it doesn’t matter as no money is stored in the phone itself.

So if you do lose your phone all you need to do is first contact your network provider to let them know, even if your phone is lost or stolen the chances are your number will remain the same, therefore when you get your phone back or activate a new phone all your Beem information and money will be intact.

What if I change phones and get a new number?

If you choose to take a new number it’s just as easy, simply Beem the balance from your active Beem account to your new number and from there follow the prompts.

In the rare event your require a different solution contact Beem support (support@Beemme.co.uk).

How do I protect my details?

We recommend you treat Beem with the same level of respect as you would your debit/credit card and personal bank details.

Think about password protecting your phone and deleting text messages you send to Beem, many phones allow you to delete text messages automatically.

Beem is very secure both online and on mobile. Its PCI compliant (payment card industry compliant) which means it works to the same standards as high street banks.

What are my passwords for?

Every time you Beem you enter your ‘Beem password’ before any command. For even further security when you ‘Get Cash’ from your bank an additional ‘Debit password’ is required.

When you access your Beem account online for the first time you’ll be asked to create a ‘Online password’ for this too.  To get the most out of Beem remember these different passwords
