Who are We?

Beem is the brainchild of the team at Mobile Sense, formed in 2002.

The team, predominantly from Orange the UK’s leading mobile phone network, broke away and came together to develop the concept.

For a very long time people have been talking about cashless payment systems, looking for a transaction method that's as quick as cash yet more convenient.

Beem was designed to make mobile money available to all whether they operate it through smart phone applications, online or just by a simple text message.

The last few years have been dedicated to making this concept a reality, working on security, interfacing with the banking systems, and creating efficient ways to work with companies that are selling goods and services through Beem.

The team, now based out of the UK and the USA, have worked tirelessly to minimise the running costs of the Beem system. 

The result is Beem. A free service for people and new opportunities for business.
